Yorkshire Housing has welcomed the government’s green paper which is designed to encourage broad discussion about social housing.

We agree with its call for more openness and transparency for tenants on issues such as performance data and complaints handling and we welcome the strengthening of powers for the regulator. However the devil could be in the detail and we need to avoid it becoming too bureaucratic.
