Homes in the pipeline
25
years till we're net zero
We don’t just have homes to rent at Yorkshire Housing, we build them too. We’ve got our own development team, our own unique house types and a focused development programme that plan to build 8,000 homes.
We build homes for rent, low-cost ownership and market sale. Our smart homes are more energy efficient and sustainable, and more affordable to live in. Our new homes are sold under the Space Homes brand, and we reinvest the profits into building more social and affordable homes across Yorkshire.

Sustainability
Sustainability is at the heart of how we build. Our homes are designed to meet Nationally Described Space Standards (NDSS), going beyond minimum requirements to provide high-quality, energy-efficient, well‑designed homes.
We also think about sustainability beyond the homes themselves, choosing sites with good public transport links and close to existing communities, so people can easily access the local services they need.
