More affordable homes are on the way to North Yorkshire as part of a new development we're helping deliver with Vistry.
The development is on Leeds Road in Thorpe Willoughby, near Selby, and work is expected to start on site next month after final planning approval was granted in September.
Housebuilder Vistry is leading the development, which will bring a total of 145 new homes to the village. We'll deliver 73 affordable homes as part of the scheme, including a mix of social rent and shared ownership properties.
The homes will feature air source heat pumps, solar panels and electric vehicle charging points. Some will also be built using timber frames, helping reduce the development's environmental impact while supporting more sustainable living for our customers.
The development will also bring green open spaces, play areas, walking and cycling routes, and new landscaping and wildlife-friendly features, helping create a neighbourhood people can be proud to call home.
