We offer grants to support our customers and local community group projects like improving green spaces, setting up new groups, putting on activities or lunch clubs. The list goes on!
To make sure fair's fair, our community grants panel review and assess each application to help decide where the money will have the biggest impact.
So, how does it all work?
The panel's made up of Yorkshire Housing colleagues and customer volunteers. Members score each application against a set of ten specific criteria, then meet online to chat through any questions or concerns before making a final decision.
They meet as and when applications come in, so it’s a flexible way to get involved and help shape positive change in our communities.
Want to get involved?
This is a super flexible role you can do from home and in your own time, as long as you have a computer and an email address you're good to go! You choose when you can take part and how many you'd like to score, so it can fit around your other commitments too!
Each grant application roughly takes a maximum of 30 minutes to evaluate and score, and 20 minutes to then discuss.
