Yorkshire Housing will be the headline sponsor of this summer’s 2018 Skipton Cycle Race, which takes place on Wednesday 11 July.
This is the second year that Yorkshire Housing has sponsored the event which is included in British Cycling’s prominent Elite Criterium Series – meaning the best cyclists in the country will be competing and the event will be televised on Eurosport and Channel four.
The event is expected to be a huge attraction on Skipton High Street, as crowds will flock to the town centre.
It will help to highlight some of the services offered in the Craven community by Yorkshire Housing including the Help@hand Service.
It offers small adaptations to people’s homes for them to live more independently. The service is open to everyone, not just Yorkshire Housing tenants. Call us on 0345 3664 410 to find out more.
Yorkshire Housing chief executive Mervyn Jones said:
“We’re very happy to support the cycle race again. It’s a great opportunity to spread the word about the work we do in the local community in Craven – especially our help@hand service that helps people live independently in their homes by offering help with adaptations, whether they are Yorkshire Housing tenants or not.”
You can find out more about the event on the Skipton cycle race website.
