Loneliness affects 1 in 4 adults in Great Britain, according to the Office for National Statistics. That’s why we’ve launched our online social clubs. They’re a welcoming space where customers can connect, chat, and share what matters to them. It’s all about helping each other feel less alone and more supported.
So, if you've always been a social butterfly, or want to make some new friends? Try something new and join one of our online social clubs.
There’s a session every week, with each one having a different theme to get the conversation going with other customers. Join online from your phone, tablet or computer, with your camera on or camera off, and let the chat flow. There’s something for everyone with no commitment to join them all (but you might want to!).
The topic for the next session is decided by the group at the end of each meeting, so no surprises and talk about what you want!
The session will run twice a day, so it’s up to you and your social battery which one you join. Whether your schedule allows for a 10am – 11am catch up, or if you want to unwind with a chat in the evening 6.30pm – 7.30pm, join when it works for you. Who knows, you might even make a new friend or two!

Don't let the title fool you, this isn't a typical book club. No lengthy debates and rushing to a finish a book in time for the next meeting. Share the titles you haven’t been able to put down, favourite characters and authors you keep coming back to. And come away with a list of recommendations for your next read.
