Yorkshire Housing is hosting an assessment day for candidates interested in becoming a customer experience advisor.
The Customer Experience Centre (CEC) assessment day is taking place at our hub “The Place” in Leeds on Saturday 28 January, and is open to anyone with a good customer service background, who has a passion for going above and beyond to help people and a strong appetite for learning.
This is an invite-only event and candidates will be invited along after applying for the role and getting a call from one of our recruitment colleagues. On the day candidates will be taking part in activities that focus on bringing out the best in them, like answering calls from Yorkshire Housing assessors with real-life customer queries, as well as problem-solving. We expect to be inviting around 40 people to the event and the day will be broken into two sessions to fit in as many people as possible.
We’re hosting the CEC Assessment Day to give candidates a taste of what a “day in the life” of a customer experience advisor at Yorkshire Housing looks like – from the conversations they have, to the fun they have on the job! It’s also important for Yorkshire Housing to see if candidates are right for us, and if we’re right for them.

“Although we’ve hosted small assessment days in the past, this is the first time we’ve invited this many people and have this number of opportunities available!”
Successful candidates will be working from the comfort of their own home, with the option of coming into our Leeds hub whenever they like. In return, we’re offering a salary of £22,206.31 (for 35 hours a week) and some fab benefits!
