Yorkshire Housing appoints new Director of Homes and Places

Yorkshire Housing is delighted to announce the appointment of Liz O’Connor as their new Director of Homes and Places.  

Liz has over 20 years' experience working in the housing sector and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Yorkshire Housing having previously held the position of Assistant Director of property care at Mosscare St Vincent. 

Liz will oversee the delivery of Yorkshire Housing’s exciting new Business Strategy with an emphasis on investing in existing homes and providing targeted support for those customers who need it most. 

Commenting on her appointment Liz O’Connor said:  

“I’m excited to be joining at a time when there is so much change and being able to play my part in overcoming some of the challenges the sector faces.  

“I love the whole ethos of putting the customers at the heart of what Yorkshire Housing do and the forward-looking Business Strategy that supports this.  

“I'll be giving all the support I can to make sure we can build on the service we already offer to our customers so they can feel safe and secure in their homes.  

“I also want my colleagues to continue to feel empowered and to embrace change and feel involved on this great journey ahead. I can’t wait to get started!”
