Our chief executive Nick Atkin has been appointed chair of the York and North Yorkshire Housing Partnership. Gail Teasdale, chief executive of Broadacres Housing Association has been appointed vice-chair.
The York and North Yorkshire Housing Partnership, which published its prospectus earlier this year, will work with both York and North Yorkshire Councils as well as the new combined authority when formed later this year to deliver the high quality, low carbon, affordable homes the region needs.
The partnership will focus on three key areas: building the right homes in the right place, the drive to net zero and boosting jobs and the local economy.
23 housing associations make up the partnership and will work together to scale up the delivery of affordable homes across the region.
