In light of the government announcement last night on the re-introduction of some restrictions in Calderdale, Kirklees and Bradford please be aware there are changes to our services in these areas as we work to keep our customers and colleagues safe.
More detailed guidance has now been issued by the government, which can be accessed here.
If you live in the metropolitan council areas of Calderdale, Kirklees and Bradford you are in one of the affected areas and will need to see below for changes to our services, effective from today. For customers in these areas we will be:
- Conducting emergency repairs only
- Continuing gas servicing as this is classed as an essential service
- Carrying out essential visits where there is a risk to the health and safety of you, our customers, or to building safety
These changes apply from today through to Friday 7th August when we understand the government restrictions will be reviewed. If you have an appointment booked with us before that time we will be contacting you to explain what will happen next.
Customers in other Yorkshire Housing homes outside the impacted areas will continue to receive services as normal.
We understand and appreciate the disruption that this will cause and we will do our best to minimise disruption for you. We have not taken this decision lightly. We want to work with you and our partners to do all we can to minimise risks for our customers at this time.
External works and our grounds maintenance service will continue and if you have a property viewing or appointment to visit a show home, this will still be taking place in a socially distanced way with PPE in place.
Thank you for your continued understanding as we respond to government restrictions and guidelines, our main priority is to keep our customers and colleagues safe so that we can return to full services as soon as possible.
Please watch out for further updates which will be posted here once we have any further information on services.
