Yorkshire Housing have joined and become a member of Tpas, a leading tenant engagement organisation.
Tpas bring tenants, landlords and contractors together through a wide range of services, independent and impartial advice, support, consultancy, and training.
By engaging successfully with tenants and communities, we can together improve services and change communities. Joining Tpas means we can access their expertise and support to help achieve this.
Director of housing services Michelle Gregg said: “We are delighted to become a member of Tpas, as tenant engagement is something we are presently working hard on.
“We are really looking forward to start working with Tpas to ensure we provide the best opportunities for our tenants to get involved and improve our services. We are excited to see the good practice others in the sector are sharing on forums, and making use of their online resources.”
Tpas chief executive Jenny Osbourne said: “Tpas are a not for profit organisation that has been in existence since 1988. By joining our members network, Yorkshire Housing are not only supporting their staff and tenants to work together more effectively, they’ll also be at the heart of driving the national tenant engagement agenda, along with over 185 landlords and 2.2 million social housing tenants across the country.”
