Contents Insurance
Yorkshire Housing has made special arrangements for all customers to arrange affordable contents insurance. Tenants and customers who hold a lease with Yorkshire Housing can take advantage of it.
The scheme offers:
- affordable insurance premiums
- lower rates for people aged over 60
- all post codes are included
- no special security arrangements required
- no excess on the policy
- pay-as-you-go basis either weekly, fortnightly, monthly or annually
- payment at the Post Office, by cheque or by Direct Debit
- a straightforward claims process
- monitoring by the Group of any complaints about the service
All tenants, customers and leaseholders are urged to make sure they have adequate contents insurance. Yorkshire Housing does not automatically cover their possessions.
