my4walls are the Government's HomeBuy agent for West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire and Humberside and are a one-stop shop for information and applications for low cost home ownership schemes across the area. Our work is on behalf of the Homes and Communities Agency and we are part of Yorkshire Housing, the largest provider of social housing in the county.
What do my4walls do?
We help to make home ownership in West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire and Humberside affordable through the HomeBuy schemes and to get people onto the first rungs of the property ladder.
My4walls provide help for every step of the way, including:

How do we do it?
My4walls give information on and provide an online application form for five different schemes for affordable home ownership:
- New Build HomeBuy — where you buy part of a new property and rent the rest from a registered social landlord.
- Open Market HomeBuy — where you part-buy a property and get an equity loan for the remaining share.
- Discounted For Sale — where the property is discounted from the open market value from 25 - 50%
- HomeBuy Direct - where you buy a percentage of a property on a designated private developer site and receive a loan from the developer and the government for the remaining share.
- Intermediate rent - where you rent a property on a designated site from a Housing Association or builder at a discount of 25%
