Community
Hi Award Nominations
The Hi Achievement Awards were introduced in 2005 to recognise the many ways that customers, families and their neighbours can make life better for individuals and the whole community. We'll also recognise any support given by members of staff. Each award winner will receive a £50 cash prize and a trophy.
Award categories and judging criteria
Hi Achievement
A person or group who may have achieved something which you’d wish to see recognised. People can offer a lot to their communities such as helping elderly people, litter picks, holding concerts or organising activities for themselves and others. The judges will look for outstanding achievement. This could be the impact made on a neighbourhood by an ongoing community initiative.
Hi Good Citizen
From looking after your house while you’re away to getting the car started, good neighbours can make all the difference. Or perhaps you know someone who’s done good for the wider community? Nominate them now!
Hi Best Garden by an individual or a group
A beautiful garden is always admired and can cheer up an area. Let us know of the best in your area. Photos must be included with your nomination or your housing officer will be able to help with this. The shortlisted gardens will be visited by representatives of the judging panel. It will make it’s recommendations to the editorial advisory committee.
