Independent Living

Our homes offer you the reassuring prospect of leading an independent lifestyle within a supportive community.

Community Life

To help you keep your independence, we recognise that it is your needs, expectations and aspirations that are most important. We work hard to make sure that all our schemes are very much part of the local community. As well as the support we provide, we can also help you to access other services from local councils, health care providers and others that can offer leisure services or social activities.

What support is available?

We encourage you to choose your own level of support and we will work with you to make sure you are satisfied with the services you receive.

All our schemes benefit from a comprehensive range of support services with access to emergency support through our contact centre 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This means that you can enjoy an active and carefree retirement, knowing that you can call on support as and when you need it.

At each scheme, a warden has day-to-day responsibility for the well-being of all residents and also works with other people and organisations in the area to provide a tailored package of support that meets your individual needs.

The benefits of the warden services

  • Making regular contact and visiting you in your home if you wish us to
  • Planning a tailored support package, appropriate to your individual needs and using extensive knowledge of local services and facilities to help you remain independent.
  • Encouraging and assisting you to enjoy any social activities you wish to get involved in both inside and outside the scheme
  • Working with other organisations such as GPs and social services on your behalf.
