Yorkshire Housing has been pleased to be involved in this year’s Passion4Fashion.
The project, co-ordinated by Leeds Federated Housing Association supports unemployed people to learn new skills, designing and making their own clothes in a cost-effective way.
Passion4Fashion workshops take place in Leeds’ Kirkgate Market and on Monday afternoons, members of Yorkshire Housing’s Community Engagement Team are pleased to get hands on at the workshops.
The workshops are an opportunity for those involved in the project to work on their creations, with hands-on and professional advice available and equipment that they can use. In addition, money management advice, further training and career options are also available at each workshop.
The project culminates in a fashion show of the outfits that have been created held at Leeds Town Hall on 21 September.
